Galer Farrer qualified as a dentist in 2008 graduating with Honours from the University of Sheffield. In 2009 she obtained by examination the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at The Royal College of Surgeons, England.
Following graduation Galer gained experience in general practice whilst also undertaking a Senior House Officer position in the Community Dental Service. This was followed by a six-month position in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Galer went on to undertake a 12 month Senior House Officer position in Restorative Dentistry at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. During this time she worked under many of the leading Consultants at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital in Sheffield.
Galer is currently undertaking an 18-month dental implant training course at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital in Sheffield.
