Angela was only 9 years old when, having watched a film where the main character caught a bullet with his teeth, she asked her younger brother to throw a marble at her teeth with the intention of catching it. Not a great idea. Her front tooth broke, and she eventually ended up with a denture from the age of 17. Her dentist at the time extracted more teeth 'to help the denture stay in'. Angela was unsurprisingly very reluctant to see any dentist ever again.
At the clinic we have helped her get through the whole procedure. She has undergone quite extensive treatment which had to account for many years of losing bone. Extra bone was created in the sinus spaces. Implants placed and 'teeth' attached to them, fixed in permanently. No denture to remove, no plastic covering her mouth or sticky adhesives required. In addition a few teeth were aesthetically improved with replacement of existing crowns and a few porcelain veneers.

I absolutely love the end result. To not wear a denture after so many years is unbelievable; my teeth are straight and no pains in my jaw. I feel really happy and not so self conscious. I just love Nigel. I hadn't been to a dentist for 8 years and was very paranoid with the whole dental thing. He was kind and patient and explained everything in detail (many times). He gave me the confidence to go ahead and I totally trusted him. I have recommended him to many of my friends and clients. It's nice to smile!
Thank you Nigel and everyone at the practice.
